Symmetric Kantha - Powder blue with balck embroidered flowers
One of the most eloquent members of our collection, this unpretentious piece tells a tall tale orbiting around one of India's oldest forms of embroidery and craft - Kantha. The craft uses simple running stitch techniques to create intricate and elaborate patterns. This art form met its end in the early 19th century, only to be revived once again by torchbearer Pratima Devi (Rabindranath Tagore’s daughter in-law). The muted shade expresses tranquillity while the black embroidered flowers add a hint of sophistication. This camis is designed to accommodate your contours and profile, while the material keeps you comfortable in every season.
